Joe Budden gearing up for a return to the music scene. According to recent comments on his podcast suggest that he might be considering it. During the latest episode of his show, Budden expressed admiration for Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s new track “Vultures,” featuring Bump J and Lil Durk, stating that it “fills his music appetite.” The track, released on November 22, has intensified anticipation for the rumored collaborative project, ¥$, especially after a multi-stadium listening event was announced last month.
The emcee behind “Rage & The Machine” last appeared on a track in July 2022 when he collaborated with Ransom on “Make a Deal.” In the recent podcast episode, Budden shared his intention to take matters into his own hands, expressing, “Don’t worry, I called Just Blaze the other day. I’m done talking about these rappers. Imma do it myself. I’ll do it myself. Imma listen to what Just Blaze has in there that might make somebody wanna rap.”
Known for his contrarian views on the state of the rap game, Budden has found himself in the midst of debates, including one last month about Drake’s “For All the Dogs.” Despite the criticism he faced, Budden remains undeterred. If a track sparks his creativity, he plans to release a 15-minute record for sale at $20, possibly as an EP. However, he cautions fans not to expect it anytime soon, acknowledging that both he and Just Blaze have other commitments. Just Blaze even stated, “Yo, I’m busy with my real job right now.” Budden humorously responded, “Me too.”
