Mase recently sparked a renewed discussion, delving into the longstanding debate surrounding Keefe D’s arrest in the Tupac Shakur murder case. This intriguing revelation unfolded during his engaging sports talk show, featuring none other than Cam’ron as his co-host. Joining them was the witty comedian, Bubba Dub, who added a dash of humor to the conversation. Together, they dubbed this revelation as the week’s most astonishing “trash moment of the week.”
Amidst the banter, Mase slyly quipped about the familiarity of the name, inciting peals of laughter from Cam and Bubba. With an air of feigned obliviousness, he prodded the comedian to shed light on the case, even coaxing an amusing imitation of Diddy’s iconic dance moves. It was a subtle insinuation that Mase believed his former rival, Sean Combs, might be linked to the incident.
“I pray 2Pac gets justice whoever is involved, I don’t even mean that in no joking way,” he earnestly stated, eliciting a mixture of chuckles and incredulous head shakes from his Dipset co-host. For those unversed in the intricacies of this saga, the allegations stem directly from Keefe D himself. In a 2008 police confession, he detailed a purported deal with Diddy to eliminate both Tupac and Suge Knight back in the mid-1990s. However, Keefe D contended that the promised payment never materialized. It’s worth noting that Diddy has vehemently denied any involvement on numerous occasions in the past.
As the narrative stands, as per official accounts, it was Orlando Anderson, Keefe D’s nephew, who fatally shot Tupac in 1996. This tragic event followed an altercation between the rap icon and Anderson at a MGM hotel and casino in Vegas, allegedly sparked by the theft of a Death Row associate’s chain months prior. Even Tupac’s brother weighed in on the potential connection to Diddy during a recent discussion. Mopreme Shakur shared with The Comedy Hype News Show, “This individual [Keefe D] mentioned [Diddy’s] name,” Mopreme Shakur told The Comedy Hype News Show. “Law enforcement has a job to do. Will they do it? It does feel like ‘Pac is being vindicated because back in them days when things were going down, everybody thought he was cr*zy. He may not have expressed it properly, but that don’t mean he was wrong. So we’ll see.”
Retired LAPD detective Greg Kading offered his perspective on Combs’ alleged involvement in a recent interview, emphasizing the need for highly credible witnesses. He emphasized, “”They’re going to need very credible substantiating witnesses,” “They would have to say, ‘I was there when I heard him make the solicitation,’ or ‘I was there when the money got paid, and it was very clear that that money was designated for this purpose,’ or ‘I delivered the money.’ Whether those people exist or not, I don’t know. I’ve always given a caveat to the whole ‘Puffy’ Combs connection. Puffy’s not built like Suge Knight, and I don’t think Puffy was truly intentionally trying to get either Tupac or Suge killed. I don’t like Puffy. I don’t think he’s a murderer.”
