As one of the greatest rappers of all time, Tupac Shakur’s legacy continues to live on through his music. And it seems like fans are about to get even more from the icon, as his estate is rumored to be releasing new music from him soon. The news has come from a Pac fan page that announced the upcoming release of a Greatest Hits album. The album will feature previously released recordings from the ‘2Pacalypse Now’ period to Pac’s ‘Thug Life’ period, with four previously unreleased Pre-Death Row tracks. The announcement has brought excitement among fans, who are eager to continue celebrating the legend that is Tupac.
This isn’t the first news we’ve heard about new songs from the late rapper. During a December podcast interview, Tupac’s associate E-Love confirmed that some Battlecat-produced tracks would finally see the light of day in 2023. “Bob did more songs with him than I did,” he said. “I did two to three songs. Actually, two songs are coming out next year. Bob did a string of songs that still have not yet come out.” However, despite the excitement over new music, there are still some kinks being worked out when it comes to Tupac’s old tracks.
In 2018, his estate settled a five-year lawsuit with Death Row Records over unfulfilled royalty payments to the late MC. Not only did Death Row pay them, but they received a slew of unreleased songs. They intended to release two albums and even discussed the possibility of doing so.

Thirty years ago, 2Pac released Strictly 4 My N.****Z…, a platinum album that features hits such as “I Get Around,” “Keep Ya Head Up,” and “Holler If Ya Hear Me.” In honor of its 30th anniversary, the original album has been reissued on 2LP, 180-gram black vinyl for the first time, arrived on February 20 2023. The album’s digitally expanded edition includes six bonus tracks, five of which are available digitally for the first time.
Strictly 4 My N.****Z… was Tupac’s first platinum-selling album. While his first effort included a more underground or indie-rap-oriented sound, this album was considered his breakout album. The title is an acronym for “Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished.” Similar to his debut, the album contains many tracks emphasizing Pac’s political and social views.
To celebrate the landmark release, the Tupac estate has unveiled a new merchandise collection that includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and baseball hats. Fans can now view the entire collection and get their hands on some unique Tupac-themed clothing.
It’s amazing to see how Tupac‘s music continues to resonate with fans, even 30 years after the release of Strictly 4 My N.****Z…. The album’s powerful themes and messages still resonate with audiences today, and the fact that the estate is releasing new music from the iconic rapper only adds to his legacy. Tupac‘s music has the power to transcend time and inspire generations, and his influence on hip-hop and pop culture will continue to be felt for years to come.
