Causing a commotion on Tuesday, 50 Cent stirred the pot with the caption he appended to a recap of his electrifying show in Albuquerque, New Mexico, shared on his Instagram.
Beneath the action-packed clip, he typed, “LA tomorrow night we are gonna turn it all the way up SOLD OUT ! But call @snoopdogg for tickets, he can still get everybody in. I’m turning my phone off. LOL”. Though his intent was clearly in jest, fans of the G-Unit luminary took his message to heart and actually reached out to Snoop, looking for passes to the Los Angeles show. The exact count of DMs Snoop received remains a mystery, but evidently, it was enough to prompt the West Coast icon’s response.
“Hold on. Why all you n*s keep calling me for these tickets to 50 Cent’s concert?” Snoop quipped in the video posted on Wednesday (Aug. 30). “Na, I ain’t got no tickets to 50’s concert or mine.”
He continued, “50 Cent, you told these ns to call me for tickets? N, I ain’t got no tickets to your show! I ain’t got no tickets to my show. Y’all can stop calling me, texting me, talking about, ‘50 said…’ Y’all better take that shit up with 50, n****. I can’t do nothing for you, man.”
50 Cent is presently embarking on The Final Lap Tour, commemorating the 20th anniversary of his monumental debut album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin‘.” This tour has evidently put Fifty in a lighthearted mood, as he’s no stranger to playfully trolling fellow rappers along the way. Just earlier this month, he teased Busta Rhymes about the size of his gold chain. And last week, Fifty cheekily joked about Drake fans tossing bras on stage and playfully expressed his desire for similar treatment.
